Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the KoalaSave website at koalasave.com (the "Service"), operated by KoalaSave ("we", "our", or "us").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

KoalaSave is a free, interactive savings goal calculator and progress tracker. It provides:

• Savings goal calculation with target amount, saved amount, and monthly contributions
• Visual progress tracking via a progress ring and interactive charts (powered by Chart.js)
• What-if scenario analysis using an adjustable monthly savings slider
• Local browser storage of your goals (no server upload or account required)
• Multiple savings scenarios (Emergency Fund, Travel Savings, Home Down Payment)

The Service is provided entirely client-side. All calculations are performed in your browser, and no data is transmitted to our servers.

The KoalaSave Service, including but not limited to its source code, design, layout, graphics, logo, branding elements, and software architecture, is the exclusive property of KoalaSave and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
• Not attempt to disrupt, manipulate, or damage the Service's functionality
• Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service beyond normal browser execution
• Not use the Service in any way that could impair its availability or security

You are solely responsible for your data. All your savings goals and calculator data are stored locally in your browser's localStorage. We do not maintain any backup or copy of your data on our servers.

We are not responsible for any data loss that may occur due to:

• Clearing your browser cache, cookies, or site data
• Using your browser's private/incognito mode (data is lost when you close the private window)
• Browser updates or settings changes that clear localStorage
• Operating system or device issues that result in data loss
• Accidental deletion by the user

We strongly recommend that you periodically back up your important goal information (e.g., by saving a screenshot or noting down key figures).

We reserve the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time without prior notice
• Update features, functionality, or user interface as we see fit to improve the Service
• Change the availability of specific tools or features within the Service

We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KoalaSave and its operators, affiliates, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data (as detailed in Section 4)
• Loss of savings or financial opportunity
• Reliance on calculator results for financial decisions
• Service interruption or downtime

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (including affiliate links and advertisements). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party sites. Accessing third-party links is at your own risk, and we encourage you to review their terms and policies.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of California.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

The Service is a general audience website and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union / UK). By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU/UK), or that you are using the Service under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.
